Governor Ned Lamont has proposed Raheem L. Mullins, an accomplished American lawyer, for the office of Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court.

On August 29, 2024, Governor Lamont announced Mullins’ nomination to succeed Richard A. Robinson, who has declared his retirement.

Justice Mullins was an Associate Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court from November 1, 2017.
