Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have received a downgrade on the British royal family website.
Previously, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with other family members, had separate biography on the royal.uk website. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ bios are now combined into a single section. Furthermore, the introduction of the section now reads: “As announced in January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped down as working members of the Royal Family. The pair married on May 19, 2018, in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, and they have two children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
The profiles for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have been removed from the family homepage.
“The Royal Family website contains over 5,000 pages of information about the Royal Family’s life and work,” a representative for Buckingham Palace stated in 2023. “Content has been updated on a regular basis since the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.” Some content may be out of current until the procedure is completed.”
Readers are aware that Harry and Meghan retired from major royal duties in 2020 and have since relocated to Montecito, California, with their children. Since March 2020, the couple’s Sussex Royal Instagram account has been inactive due to restrictions on using HRH style and the word “royal” in their initiatives.
They have launched several projects, including their charity Archewell and a Netflix docuseries about their love story. Harry has a memoir, Spare, while Meghan has a podcast, Archetypes, and a lifestyle platform, American Riviera Orchard, where she will sell products including cookbooks, dinnerware, and natural jam.
