The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement will give at least 20 scholarships, each worth up to $10,000, to students seeking a career in agriculture. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic success, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to agriculture.
“As we continue to support the next generation of agricultural leaders, we are excited to offer these scholarships to students who are passionate about shaping the future of agriculture,” said Julie Bolyard, Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement’s Board of Directors Chair. “Whether they aspire to become farmers, food scientists, mechanics, agriculture teachers, or other noble pursuits, these scholarships will help them make meaningful impacts in the agricultural community.”
Applications are accessible to high school seniors as well as those presently enrolled in two- or four-year higher education programs or technical schools. To be eligible, applicants must live in one of Horizon Farm Credit’s 100 counties or in Washington, D.C., and have a strong desire to work in agriculture.
Applications are being accepted online now through January 3, 2025, and scholarships will be awarded in April 2025. For more information and to apply, please visit FCFoundationforAg.org or email [email protected].
