The American musician Kanye West has apologized once more to the Jewish community for his previous antisemitic statements.
West made a number of anti-Semitic statements on social media in 2022, claiming that Jews were in charge of Hollywood.
Additionally, he declared on X that he would “go death con 3 on the Jewish people.”
In addition to getting him banned from the network, the comment caused fashion labels like Balenciaga, Adidas, and Gap to sever their ties with him.
West apologized to the Jewish community for his antisemitic statements a few weeks after he had his outburst.
The rapper made a reference to antisemitism last month in a song called “Vultures” that hasn’t been released yet.
“How am I antisemitic? / I just f**ked a Jewish bitch,” the lyrics read.
In a post written in Hebrew on his Instagram page on Tuesday, West expressed remorse for any unintended harm caused by his words and actions.
He added that he is willing to make amends and promote unity.
“I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions,” he wrote.
“It was not my intention to hurt or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.
“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.
“Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
West is currently working on a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, his colleague, titled ‘Vultures’.
‘Vultures’ will be released on January 12.
