The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) recently published a report titled “Global Innovation Index 2023: Innovation in the Face of Uncertainty,” which provides a comprehensive assessment of innovation ecosystems in 132 countries, shedding light on their strengths and weaknesses through the analysis of 80 indicators, including R&D expenditure.
The research is being released against a backdrop of poor economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, skyrocketing interest rates, and geopolitical crises.
