Teenager Arrested for Breaking into Michael Jordan’s $15m Chicago Mansion

An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly breaking into NBA legend Michael Jordan’s $15 million mansion in Chicago.

According to TMZ, Jordan, 60, was not present at the time, but the teenager was discovered inside the building after neighbors alerted police in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 4.

Local media have named the teen Raiden Hagerdorn and charged him with criminal trespass and two counts of criminal property damage.

Jordan has not lived at the property since 2012. He has been trying to sell it for 13 years, initially putting it up for sale for $29million. TMZ says its latest value is just under $15m.

The property has nine bedrooms. 19 baths, an indoor basketball gymnasium, pool, tennis court, and cigar room.

The gates to the property are also personalized with the No 23 – the number synonymous with Jordan and his all-conquering NBA career with the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan was a six-time NBA champion with the Bulls in a career spanning from 1991-98, as well as five-time MVP. He retired in 2003 after time with the Washington Wizards.
