If you’re tech-savvy and enjoy traveling, you could be a fantastic fit for a dream job with a beverage firm looking for a “senior soda consultant” to embark on an American adventure.
“OLIPOP is looking for two real besties who are great at creating content and are willing to travel to each city on OLIPOP’s tour to share their love of soda not only with locals, but also with each other,” a spokesman from OLIPOP, a soda brand that provides a variety of tastes, told FOX Business.
Last year, OLIPOP got over 90,000 LinkedIn applications from persons interested in the position.
According to Steven Vigilante, director of growth and alliances, the brand engaged billions of social media users by delivering them a box of their favorite OLIPOP drink.
The soft drink firm has listened to the feedback from OLIPOP fans and is now offering them the option to officially join the squad.
“We wanted to do something different and unique and actually put these people on payroll,” Vigilante said.
The “senior soda consultants” will travel to four cities across the United States, with $10,000 allocated for each.
The future employer will offer flights and hotels.
Olipop, like any other employment application, has specific criteria for identifying potential “superfans.”
Vigilante described the ideal candidates as two closest friends who can make material highlighting the wonderful destinations they travel while also representing OLIPOP.
“We want to create an awesome, memorable experience for whoever the two winners are.” – Steven Vigilante of OLIPOP
Instead of going to “the four most obvious cities,” the beverage brand wants the new staff to visit some cities that are underappreciated yet vibrant.
OLIPOP aims to provide a comprehensive travel guide by highlighting unique sights and cultures in underserved markets, according to Vigilante.
The post is advertised on the OLIPOP website, and applicants can apply until March 22.
To apply, applicants must provide biographical information, a resume, and video clips demonstrating their qualifications as “superfans.”
The “senior soda consultants” will depart on April 5 and enjoy the first city until April 10, when they will continue on with their tour.
“We want to create an awesome, memorable experience for whoever the two winners are,” Vigilante said.
“Most ideas don’t have virality to them as a brand, [but] I think this is something that has a chance of taking off on social and becoming something that people get really competitive about,” he said.
