Nipsey Hussle’s Assets of $11M to be Shared Among His Two Children

Nipsey Hussle’s whole assets, worth more than $11 million, will be divided evenly between his two children, Kross, 7, and Emani, 14, after they were deemed the deceased rapper’s only beneficiaries.

In March 2019, Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, was fatally murdered outside his Marathon Clothing business in his South Central Los Angeles neighborhood. Following his death, his brother, Sam Asghedom, was appointed as the late rapper’s executor.

According to PEOPLE, Kross will receive 50% of the cash and non-monetary assets that will be handed to his mother and the Victory Lap rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Lauren London. They have also received an additional $113,000 in payment for expenses related to Emani’s “health, education, and other matters.”

Samiel Asghedom and his family were awarded the remaining 50% of Emani’s assets because they are the 14-year-old’s legal guardians. According to PEOPLE, the deceased rapper’s assets include a 2012 Chevy Suburban, a 100% membership stake in All Money Inc, a 100% interest in Marathon Studios, a 100% interest in The Marathon Touring, a 100% interest in The Marathon Clothing Inc, and his trademark portfolio. Additional firms and businesses are among the other assets.

Hussle had been dating London since 2013, when he was fatally shot. In a January visit on the PEOPLE Every Day podcast, the 38-year-old actress discussed how she has been dealing with the death of her former lover.

“I have to wake up with the intention of this every day because there are days I don’t want to, and I’m like angry about it,” she said. “And that’s what healing is. It is up and down, side to side, all over the place. You know what I mean? And with each new level, there’s something else.”

Eric Holder Jr., the slain Eritrean-American rapper’s killer, was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison in February after being found guilty of first-degree murder last July for fatally shooting Hussle, according to How Africa.

After hearing from one of Hussle’s friends and reading a letter from Holder’s father, Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke handed down Holder’s sentence in a Los Angeles courtroom. Holder was also convicted of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter after the shooting injured two people.

Prosecutors told the court at the opening of Holder’s trial last June that his acts were planned and intentional. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney claimed Holder knew he was going to kill the rapper. McKinney claims Hussle was assaulted at least ten times, and that Holder allegedly kicked the Racks in the Middle rapper in the head before departing the scene.

McKinney claimed the two guys got into an argument after Hussle learned Holder was a snitch. McKinney stated that the rapper sought to “clear that up,” according to The Associated Press. Prior to the shooting, Holder, Hussle, and two of his pals, according to the prosecutor, had a “cool conversation.” Hussle was thought to be unprotected when he walked to his store.
