Axis Bank Partners With Fibe to Launch India’s First Numberless Credit Card

Axis Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, has collaborated with Fibe (previously known as EarlySalary) to launch the country’s first-ever numberless credit card aimed at tech-savvy Generation Z consumers. Customers benefit from increased security with the numberless credit card because the standard card number, expiration date, and CVV are no longer printed on the physical card.

This unique design is designed to lessen the danger of identity theft or unauthorized access to consumers’ card information while maintaining the highest level of security and privacy. This card will be available to Fibe’s more than 2.1 million customers.

The co-branded credit card includes industry-leading features such as a 3% reward on online food delivery across all restaurant aggregators, local transportation on leading ride-hailing apps, and entertainment on online ticketing platforms. Customers also receive a 1% reward on all online and offline transactions.

RuPay powers the card, allowing the consumer to attach this credit card to UPI. The card is accepted in all retail establishments as well as all internet sites. It also has a tap-and-pay option for increased convenience. Furthermore, there is no membership cost and no yearly fee for the life of the card.

Access to four domestic airport lounges per quarter, fuel surcharge waiver for fuel spends between Rs. 400 and Rs. 5,000, and the added benefit of Axis Dining Delights, Wednesday Delights, End of Season Sales, and RuPay portfolio offerings available across all their cards are some of the other features of this card.
