Andrew Tate Released From Detention, To Observe House Arrest

After three months in police prison, well-known media personality Andrew Tate has been released from custody.

According to HowAfrica, Tristan Tate and Andrew Tate were both taken into custody on December 29, 2022, in Romania by the authorities. They were accused of rape, participating in organized crime, and trafficking in human beings.

Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, two additional ladies who were allegedly conspirators, were also detained during the operation.

Days after a Twitter argument with Greta Thunberg, a climate change activist, Tate was arrested. Tate tweeted a video of himself during the fight posing next to a pizza box, giving Romanian officials a sign as to where he was.

Tate’s attorneys filed an appeal after the court turned down several bail requests. According to the Daily Mail, a Bucharest-based Court of Appeal decided on Friday that the Tate brothers and their two suspected accomplices should be freed from custody and placed under home arrest.

The four are to be detained in their homes, and cannot exit the building except they are granted permission by the court.
