This is a teaser that will only raise the excitement of Cybertruck fans, Tesla’s first pickup truck.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, revealed the Cybertruck after announcing that the company would establish its worldwide engineering headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
“Cybertruck at Tesla Engineering Headquarters,” Musk tweeted on February 22nd, accompanied by an 8-second video. The brief video depicts what looks to be the Cybertruck being attacked by lasers from all sides.
The film concentrates on the car’s front end and its striking headlights. The vehicle’s attributes are not described in depth, but the lasers and headlights emphasize the notion that it is futuristic.
Musk said during the Palo Alto event that production will begin later this year. He also mentioned that the audience can view a number of preproduction units.
“It’s gonna change the look of the roads,” the billionaire said, calling the Cybertruck “epic”.
The video had the desired effect, namely to create enthusiasm among the fans and feed their impatience to get their hands on the vehicle.
“So glad we placed our order long ago,” one Twitter user commented.
“After seeing this video, I’ve made up my mind to get one of these Cybertrucks. Can’t wait for it to hit the roads! #Cybertruck #Tesla,” added another user.
“wow,” exclaimed another user.
“Cybertruck is built with an exterior shell made for ultimate durability and passenger protection,” Tesla said in its website. “Starting with a nearly impenetrable exoskeleton, every component is designed for superior strength and endurance, from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin to Tesla armor glass.”

The Cybertruck is supposed to have a low center of gravity that allows for superb traction control and torque, allowing for 0-60 mph speeds in 2.9 seconds and a range of up to 500 miles.
Furthermore, Tesla claims the pickup truck has a payload capability of up to 3,500 pounds (1,587 kg) and 100 cubic feet of external, lockable storage.
The company also claimed that the vehicle can haul more than 14,000 pounds (6,350 kg).
Several videos and photographs that have surfaced on social media in recent days provide varying amounts of information about the vehicle. The Cybertruck appears to have improved suspension as well as side pillar cameras.
Musk is anticipated to reveal the various features on March 1 at Tesla’s Investor Day.
Musk unveiled the vehicle at a promotional event in Los Angeles in November 2019. The software titan stated at the time that he was “inspired partly by ‘The Spy Who Loved Me,'” referring to the amphibious Lotus Esprit S1 featured in the 1977 James Bond film.
The Cybertruck has also been compared to something from the films “Mad Max” and “Blade Runner.”
This pickup truck, Tesla’s first, is expected to become the company’s cash cow, joining the entry-level Model 3 sedan, the Model S luxury sedan, the Model Y SUV, and the luxury Model X SUV, as well as the Tesla Semi.
The order book is completely full. Tesla is no longer accepting orders outside of North America. The vehicle’s commercial success seemed to be guaranteed, at least in the first few months.
Musk and Tesla have yet to reveal pricing for the Cybertruck. Yet, the starting price might be $40,000.
