Khaby Lame, the Senegalese-born TikTok star with the platform’s greatest following, has signed a major commercial contract for almost $900 million, marking one of the most important monetisation moves ever made by a worldwide digital talent.
The transaction entails the partial sale of his company, Step Distinctive Limited, to Rich Sparkle Holdings, a US-listed entity that announced the acquisition as part of a larger strategic relationship aimed at scaling Lame’s commercial activities globally.
According to the agreement, Rich Sparkle, through its operating partners, would have exclusive rights to Khaby Lame’s global commercial activities for the first 36 months.
These rights encompass brand alliances, endorsements, licensing, and e-commerce enterprises, indicating a transition away from traditional influencer marketing and toward a platform-based economic model.
Rich Sparkle forecasts that if completely deployed, the integrated structure combining traffic, fulfillment, operations, and unique technologies will create more than $4 billion in annual sales.
As part of the agreement, Khaby Lame will become a controlling shareholder in Rich Sparkle Holdings, establishing him not just as a creative collaborator but also as an equity stakeholder in the commercial infrastructure created around his brand.
“This is not just an equity acquisition, but a revolution in the global content e-commerce model,” the company said, adding that the combination of a US-listed platform, globally recognised content IP, and supply chain expertise could unlock unprecedented shareholder value.
The commercial strategy will initially focus on the United States, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with execution scheduled for the next three years. Rich Sparkle will collaborate with Anhui Xiaoheiyang Network Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese content commerce operator with experience in large-scale creator-led e-commerce.
