The novel spent six weeks on the New York Times best-seller list before being purchased by Meghan and Prince Harry for an estimated $4 million.
The plot centres around the love journey of a woman in her thirties dealing with the tragic death of her mother in a vehicle accident. The plot of “Meet Me at the Lake” is comparable to Prince Harry’s personal life, as his mother, Princess Diana, died in a car accident in 1997.
