Diddy’s S*x Trafficking Trial To Begin May 2025

Sean Combs, the music entrepreneur, is scheduled to stand trial for racketeering and s*x trafficking on May 5, 2025, according to a judge during a court hearing Thursday.

The rapper known as “Diddy” will remain jailed, according to federal judge Arun Subramanian. He was indicted last month on three criminal counts alleging that he s*xually abused women and compelled them into drug-fueled s*x parties using threats and violence.

Prosecutors have twice denied Combs bail, citing worries about witness tampering. He has pled not guilty to all counts.

Combs entered the courtroom wearing a light-colored crumpled shirt and pants, and greeted his mother and children who were present.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson said there was still more evidence to investigate, noting that 96 electronic devices were confiscated in March and that additional charges were possible.

Allegations against the Grammy winner have been mounting since last year, when singer Cassie, real name Casandra Ventura, claimed Combs subjected her to more than a decade of compulsion using physical force and narcotics, as well as a 2018 r*pe.

A slew of similarly heinous civil lawsuits afterward have depicted Combs as a violent man who exploited his famous standing to prey on women.

In a theatrical statement, lawyers stated more than 100 people who claim Combs attacked or exploited them, including children, were considering more legal action.

The eruption of allegations against him has exposed a culture in the music industry that many believe allows for a larger pattern of pervasive s*xual misconduct.
