Diddy Admits To Assaulting Cassie After CCTV Evidence

Sean Diddy Combs admits to beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016.

In a video statement released on social media, the US rapper apologized to Cassie.

On March 5, 2016, hotel security footage caught Diddy kicking, hitting, and dragging Cassie.

Cassie is seen in a black sweatshirt summoning an elevator at the now-defunct Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

Diddy is then spotted following the singer down the corridor in a towel.

The music mogul approaches Cassie, strikes her, and grabs her by the hair before pushing her to the ground.

According to the Los Angeles district attorney’s office, Diddy would not face assault charges if the incident took place in 2016.

It noted that this is because the year of the attack has gone, and an assault charge can no longer be prosecuted.

Following widespread outrage, Diddy recorded a monologue in which he apologized to Cassie.

In the video apology, he stated that he was “truly sorry” and that his actions were “inexcusable”.

“I fully accept responsibility for my behavior in that video. “I was disgusted when I did it,” the rapper admitted.

The attack film bolstered Cassie’s accusations in a November 2023 settlement lawsuit.

In the case, the singer claimed Diddy trafficked, r-ped, and beat her several times over a ten-year period.
