Meet Ashlee M. Davis and Tianna Williams, childhood best friends for almost 20 years who recently graduated from American University Washington College of Law. Ashlee received cum laude honors, and Tianna obtained her J.D.
The couple commemorated this significant event with a moving photoshoot, which they published on social media and has received over 200,000 likes thus far. The images show them in their PhD gowns, adjusting each other’s academic caps.
Along with these latest photos, they shared a nostalgic throwback from 2002, signifying their long-lasting relationship and shared experience through law school.
“What’s better than one lawyer? TWO,” Ashlee wrote in the caption of their Instagram post. “My sister since 2002. We made it.”
“Growing up together, we shared dreams, challenges, and countless memories. To now stand side by side, having accomplished one of our biggest goals, is a testament to our dedication, hard work, and the unwavering support we’ve given each other,” Tianna wrote in her LinkedIn post.
“This milestone is not just a personal achievement, but a shared victory that reminds us of the power of friendship and the importance of community,” she continued.
