Greenwich Police Department has announced that the 2023 Greenwich Battle of the Badges Blood Drive will be held on December 2, 2023.
Donate blood in the name of your favorite Town of Greenwich first responder team at the Town of Greenwich Public Safety Complex.
The team with the most blood donated in their honor will be declared the Battle of the Badges blood drive winner.
Chief Heavey’s many years of loyal service and support for the Red Cross, as well as his 100th blood donation, will be honored at this year’s blood drive.
The Town’s First Responders hope to see you on December 2nd so that we can help the Red Cross with their effort to raise blood donations.
In addition, on December 2, the police department will launch off its annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” Holiday Toy Drive.
They will be located in front of the Greenwich Public School, 290 Greenwich Avenue.
Please bring fresh or unopened gifts to aid our local youths who are in need this holiday season.
If you are unable to attend the event on December 2, you may contribute a gift at the Greenwich Public Safety Complex, 11 Bruce Place, at any time until the “Stuff-A-Crusier” Holiday Toy Drive concludes on December 22.
