Former US first lady Melania Trump debunked divorce rumors as she stepped out with her husband Donald Trump for the first time since his arrest in New York City on charges of making money payments to pornstar Stormy Daniels.
Melania has been conspicuously absent since her husband’s court appearance, where he pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges.
As expected, rumors of the couple’s impending divorce began to circulate.
But Melania finally stepped out to join the former president for an Easter brunch at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach on Sunday, April 9.
She can be seen sitting by Donald’s side as they celebrate the holiday with family and friends.
She also broke her month-long social media silence by tweeting a ‘Happy Easter!’ message.
The couple received a standing ovation from their guests as they entered the ballroom at the private club in Florida.
In social media videos, Donald can be seen waving at people and stopping for handshakes, while his wife of 18 years went straight to their large table in the middle of the room.
Instagram photos show the two sitting next to each other.
Melania was seen conversing with Donald, leaning in close to him while they ate.
Stormy Daniels offered to “testify in Melania’s divorce proceedings” against her husband.
