Vera Sidika Mung’asia, a well-known Kenyan television and social media personality, video vixen, businesswoman, and socialite, was born on September 30, 1989. She became well-known when P-song Unit’s “You Guy,” which was published in 2012, included her. Due to her extravagant lifestyle, Vera was also considered to be one of Kenya’s most contentious women.

On May 21, 2017, she introduced Veetox tea as an entrepreneur. Veetox tea is a herbal detox that aids in bloating reduction, abdominal fat burning, and digestive system cleaning. She is also the creator of the Mombasa-based VS Spa, a beauty company that sells cosmetics and personal care items. She also owns Zuri Glow Skincare, a Nairobi-based provider of skincare products.

Along with other Kenyan celebrities like Silvia Njoki, Ella Ciru, Gertrude Murunga, Kiki Diang’a, and Marjolein Blokland, she participated in the reality series Nairobi Diaries in 2015. The program featured successful Kenyan women.

Controversy

In 2014, Vera was accused of lightening her skin, but she admitted to her accuser that she did that in the UK. She said her skin cost her over KSh15 million ($125,000). She told Larry Madowo, in an interview that

“My body is my business and it is a money-maker.”

Butt Implants

In October, 2022, Vera Sidika advised young girls not to allow peer pressure to plunge them into activities that could ruin their future.

Sidika said this via her post on Instagram on Wednesday following her latest surgery to reduce her butt size as she admonished young girls to appreciate their natural bodies.

“Due to health risks and complications, I had to undergo surgery,” Sidika revealed on IG.

In the extensive revelation on social media, Sidika said she was fortunate to be alive while attributing this to God’s love for her as well as appreciating her husband and other members of her family.

Sidika said: “THE REBIRTH …This has been the hardest phase in my life. Due to health risks, I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable. But I’ve come to terms with it and learnt to love myself regardless.

“Ladies; please learn to love yourself and don’t ever let peer pressure rush you into things that will ruin you in future. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much. Honestly, it’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my birthday this year, but here we are.”

“Happy birthday to me. New me. I’ve come to appreciate life and never take things for granted. Thanks to my family, especially my husband for being there for me. Otile Brown, a Kenyan singer, was the subject of her romance, which ended in August 2018. Before they both left, she had a long-lasting relationship with Tanzanian artist Jimmy Chansa.
