Trevor Noah Explains The One Word The Royals Should Avoid Following The Racism Scandal

Lady Susan Hussey, a longstanding advisor to the late Queen Elizabeth II, could have avoided sounding racist after remarks she allegedly made to the director of a British Black charity this week, according to Trevor Noah.

Noah addressed the situation surrounding Hussey, Prince William’s godmother, who apparently resigned from her position as royal aide after Ngozi Fulani, creator of Sistah Space, claimed “Lady SH” repeatedly questioned her where she “truly” came from at a Buckingham Palace reception on Tuesday.

The host of “The Daily Show,” who used a segment of his show to emphasize how the scandal occurred during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to Boston, quipped with his audience that there is only “one socially acceptable way to find out someone’s origin.”

“You swab their DNA while they’re asleep. It’s the polite thing to do,” Noah quipped.

Noah later remarked that the remarks go against a lesson in “Avoidable Racism 101” class.

“It is just never say the word ‘from,’” Noah said.

″‘Where are you really from?’ ‘Go back to where you came from,’ ‘You see this clip from Tucker Carlson?’”
