When Zimbabwean MMA athlete Themba “The Answer” Gorimbo posted his bank balance on social media, claiming that all he had to his name after his last bout in the UFC was $7, he had no idea that letting the world into his private life would bring his ambitions to fruition.
Gorimbo has been sleeping in the gym every night since moving to the United States to pursue his MMA passion. The couch served as his bed, and it symbolized the sacrifices he was making in order to realize his ambition one day. But this desire came true quite soon after WWE superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson donated him a completely equipped home in Miami, therefore ending his need to sleep at the MMA gym in Florida.

The former WWE champion stated that Gorimbo’s story moved him and that he chose to assist the UFC fighter. Johnson stated on Twitter that even though he had never met Gorimbo before, he was inspired by his passionate desire to accomplish his aspirations. He stated that he resolved to fly to Miami to see Gorimbo, shake his hands, and hug him. He stated that despite having only $7 in his account, the UFC fighter had the rage of a beast to win his fights.
Gorimbo burst into tears when he met Johnson. He was giving an interview when the WWE former champion approached him from behind, hoping to get his attention. When Gorimbo saw the People’s Champion, he was overcome with emotion, and his eyes welled up with tears.

But that wasn’t the end of it. According to sports brief, Johnson surprised him with the keys to a fully furnished apartment, capping off the UFC fighter’s excitement.
According to Vibe, after winning his most recent UFC fight, Gorimbo sold his match-worn gear for $7,000 and donated the proceeds to his home nation of Zimbabwe in order to provide clean water and build a bush pump. As a result, he was suffering until Johnson’s surprise.
