St. Kitts and Nevis PM Praised For Saving Passenger’s Life During Flight

Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, put his knowledge to use when he offered medical assistance to a passenger on a flight from the United States to the Caribbean nation.

According to the St. Vincent Times, Dr. Drew stepped in to help the elderly male patient after a flight attendant requested the assistance of any passenger with medical knowledge. According to reports, the passenger had a medical emergency and became unresponsive. He was eventually revived.

Dr. Drew also recommended that the passenger be removed from the plane and taken to a medical facility for further treatment. The flight crew, passengers, and the patient’s family all thanked him for offering to help.

“My life is one of service,” the Prime Minister said.

Dr. Drew studied medicine in Cuba and the United States before becoming Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis in August. After word of the 45-year-kind old’s gesture spread, his countrymen took to social media to praise him, according to Loop Jamaica.

“Thank God for the prime Minister to be in the right place at the right time blessings my dear prime Minister,” a Facebook user posted.

“The caring PM on the ground and in the air,” another user also shared.

“God bless you sweetly our dearest prime minister. that’s just who you are.very loving and caring,” a user also commented.
