Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed a married Venezuelan influencer’s “totally untrue” accusation that she made love with him last year.
The blogger, who goes by the moniker Georgilaya, claims Ronaldo cheated on his longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodrguez, with whom he has two children, in a hotel room in Portugal on March 25 of last year.
According to The Sun, Georgilaya said Ronaldo texted her and invited her to his hotel room after posing for photographs with Ronaldo and his Portuguese teammates.
She said: “When I read the message I thought if I went there we would just talk, get to know each other better, maybe I could take some more photos. I didn’t think there would be intimacy in this situation. The fact is, it happened.”
“It was agreed on my part, but still I felt manipulated by Cristiano Ronaldo’s fame and power.”
Ronaldo’s spokesman said the claims were “false and defamatory”.
The anonymous Venezuelan blogger claims Ronaldo cheated on his longtime partner Georgina Rodrguez, with whom he has two children, in a hotel room in Portugal on March 25, last year.
Georgilaya asserted After posing for selfies with Ronaldo and his Portuguese teammates, Ronaldo texted her and invited her to his hotel room, according to The Sun.
Ronaldo and his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, with whom he has two children.
Georgilaya claims she slept with Ronaldo at the Hotel Solverde in Vila Nova de Gaia, northern Portugal, when the Portugal national team captain was training for the World Cup in Qatar with his teammates.
She claims she and Ronaldo, who has been dating his model girlfriend Rodriguez for almost six years, had consensual intercourse. But Georgilaya said she felt “used” afterwards.
Ronaldo has denied these claims.
She said in a video on Instagram: “Cristiano Ronaldo came into my room where she [the Portuguese National Team] were in the same hotel.’
She continued, “He came into my room on the third floor…do you understand me?”
“At no time did I say that I went into Cristiano Ronaldo’s room.”
Georgilaya collected a number of images of herself with Ronaldo in a category called Cristiano Ronaldo on her Instagram account. Ronaldo was photographed twice with his arm around a smiling Georgilaya.
Georgilaya also shared photos of herself wearing a Manchester United shirt with Ronaldo’s name on it while watching Portugal play Macedonia in a World Cup qualifier. She tagged Ronaldo on each shot.
Georgilaya, who claims she isn’t interested in “fame or money,” shares suggestive images of herself in her underwear on Instagram.
After making the allegations, Georgilaya denied that she claimed to be getting more followers on Instagram.
“I’ve made it clear that I’m neither crazy nor hungry [for fame]. I already had followers. Be careful with that. I already had followers,” she said on her Instagram story.
Georgilaya complained that social media users had made derogatory comments on her Instagram posts in which she was wearing lace lingerie.
“And no less important, I’m no less a woman than everyone else because I show up in the photo with little clothing to begin with,” she said. “Many … have insulted me and written terrible comments on my photos.”
Ronaldo and his longtime girlfriend, whom he met in 2016 at a Gucci store where Rodriguez worked as a retail clerk, have two children.
Cristiano Jr., Ronaldo’s eldest child, was born in the United States in 2010 but promptly returned to Madrid to grow up in Spain. His mother’s identity is unknown.
On November 12, 2017, Georgina gave birth to their daughter Alana. The couple revealed they were expecting twins in October 2021, but their son died in childbirth on April 18, but their daughter survived.
Georgilaya kept a number of images of herself with Ronaldo in a folder called “Christiano Ronaldo” on her Instagram account. Ronaldo was photographed twice with his arm around a happy Georgilaya.
Georgilaya shared a photo on Instagram Stories of herself wearing a Manchester United shirt with Ronaldo’s name on it.
Ronaldo was previously accused of raping US citizen Kathryn Mayorga in a hotel room in 2009 and then paying her $375,000 in a hush money settlement.
Last June, US Judge Jennifer Dorsey rejected the case, saying Mayorga’s lawyer acted “in bad faith” and relied on leaked documents.
Ronaldo, who is now under contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr for £173 million a year, has consistently denied raping Mayorga, 40, in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009 and insisted they had consensual intercourse. He was never charged again by the police.
Judge Dorsey stated that dismissing a case entirely with no opportunity to refile it was a serious consequence, but Ronaldo had been hurt by the woman’s attorney, Leslie Mark Stovall.
