Rapper Latto Criticized for Flaunting Wealth, Later Surprises Fan with $2K Rent Aid

Latto’s thoughtful gesture to one of her admirers has rekindled her fan base. She recently discussed with her fans on social media what she appreciates about living a luxury lifestyle and being wealthy.

She wrote, “My fav thing about being rich is going out to eat damn near every day & ordering wtvr tf I got a taste for.” Some of her followers, who may not be as well-off as she is, weren’t too happy with the 25-year-old star’s post, though.

One person commented, “Not right now Latto,” in response to her boastful post. “Please. It’s rent season.” The “Sunday Service” rapper apologized and then inquired about the fan’s rent and her cash app.

Rapper Latto fulfilled her promise to the fan by donating $2,000, which is $500 more than the fan’s actual rent, according to HipHopDX.

“LATTOOOOOOOOO! Latto don’t do budgetsss I LOVE YOU,” the woman excitedly replied while sharing a screenshot of the transaction.

According to BET, the artist surprised another user with $500 after they asked for $75.

Latto recently made history as the first female host of Atlanta radio station 107.9’s birthday celebration.

In 2016, the Atlanta native rose to prominence as the winner of Jermaine Dupri’s reality show The Rap Game.
