Prince Harry made a solo appearance at a star-studded football game in Los Angeles recently. While other celebrities’ professional titles were disclosed, the prince and his wife Meghan Markle did not. Many people are curious about the couple’s present roles outside of their past royal responsibilities.
The Duke of Sussex was spotted in the directors’ box, cheering on Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) against David Beckham’s Inter Miami. Inter Miami was represented by football legend Lionel Messi. Meghan Markle, on the other hand, was conspicuously absent, prompting conjecture as to why she was unable to attend the game.
This event’s VIP guest list featured a who’s who of worldwide personalities. It featured celebrities ranging from Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Holland, and Selena Gomez in Hollywood to Magic Johnson and LeBron James in sports. Unlike Harry and Meghan, all were easily identified by their occupations.
It’s worth noting that Harry hasn’t always been a big football fan. According to the Daily Mail, while residing in the UK, he supported Arsenal football club but freely admitted his preference for rugby over football. However, his obvious passion during the LA game could indicate a renewed interest, or it could be a nostalgic link to his homeland.
Musicians such as Liam Gallagher from the United Kingdom and Rage Against the Machine also attended the event. Their professions, like those of other celebrities, were featured in the LAFC’s official news release.
The absence of Harry from the VIP list hints at the public’s lingering concern about his and Meghan’s present professional obligations following their Royal leave.
Prince Harry is set to return to the United Kingdom for a brief visit. He’s in London for the annual WellChild Awards, a humanitarian organization for which he still serves as a patron. He is unlikely, though, to meet his relatives, King Charles and Prince William.
