Ndovu Kuu, also known as Christopher Thande Githara, was born on January 6, 1996 in Kabete, Nairobi, Kenya. He was the third and final child of a family of three.

Although the details of his basic education are unknown, he attended Kahuho Uhuru Boys for his secondary education. He was accepted into the Geospatial Engineering program at Kenyatta University, but he didn’t feel comfortable there, so he decided to enroll in the Aeronautical Engineering program at the East Africa School of Aviation.

Career

Ndovu Kuu began playing instruments and participating actively in music and theatrical festivals while he was a student at Kahuho Uhuru Boys.

He co-wrote the song Ndovu ni Kuu alongside Khaligraph Jones and Boutross Munene. His ex-girlfriend Palema, who cheated on him while they were both attending Kenyatta University, served as the inspiration for the song. She even conceived the man’s child while she was pregnant.

The song was released on May 22, 2021, and has received over 1 million views on YouTube. However, a few weeks after its release, YouTube removed it due to copyright breaches.

The lawsuit for infringement and defamation against them was brought by Dexta Briyanka against Kenyatta University. In the song, there is a lyric that goes, “Mtoto Wangu akiitwa KU nitakataa.” With so many people applying for admission, it truly had a negative impact on the university. They said that the video would return online despite the chances being against them.

He grew up with his two elderly brothers, apart from his ex-girlfriend Pamela we don’t know if she is in another relationship.
