The Nantucket Cottage Hospital revealed the recipients of their 2023 Beinecke Scholarships Thursday afternoon, with 38 island students and residents pursuing study and training in medical and healthcare disciplines walking away with scholarships totaling $50,000.
Scholarship applications are accessible to Nantucket High School graduates, island residents, and Nantucket Cottage Hospital staff. The scholarship fund was established in the 1950s by the late Nantucket businessman and civic leader Walter Beinecke, Jr.
