Manchester City advanced to the Champions League semi-finals with a 3-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their quarter-final match.
In a thoroughly dominant performance, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland scored for the Premier League champions.
It took them nearly 30 minutes to break the deadlock, but Rodri’s world-class finish from outside the box put the English side ahead.
The visitors showed signs of a possible comeback early in the second half, but City blew the game open in a six-minute span when Haaland provided a fantastic assist for Silva’s goal before scoring his own.
Pep Guardiola’s team will travel to the Allianz Arena for the second leg next Wednesday with a three-goal lead.
