Being a father, one of basketball’s greatest players, and a notable entrepreneur, LeBron James may appear to have it all figured out. Even he recognizes that his story is far from over.

To encourage others to seek their next chapter, James and LIFEWTR have developed the “More to Life” initiative.

In 2022, the star athlete signed a multi-year collaboration with the premium water brand because he was inspired by its aim to help people thrive. The collaboration allows James to serve marginalized populations in new ways.

According to a press release, their most recent partnership will provide awards to individuals and communities to help them rejuvenate their passion, purpose, and talent, among other things, with a $100,000 commitment to back it up. The funds will be distributed initially to children at James’ I PROMISE School.

“This partnership with LIFEWTR is about celebrating community, purpose and creativity, so it’s exciting to see those values come to life in this campaign,” said James in a press statement. “The ‘more’ in my life is what drives me – my family, uplifting my community, and tapping into those things that bring you joy – all while supporting and inspiring others to do, and be, more along the way.”

“This campaign marks a major milestone for LIFEWTR as the brand embarks on a new journey to show people how we can help them thrive—starting with whole body hydration,” Emily Boido, Senior Director Marketing, Enhanced Water Brands, said in the press release. “We couldn’t think of a better partner to join us in telling this story than LeBron James. As a multi-talented global icon and mentor to many, he embodies the spirit of the More to Life message, which is why we have come together to encourage people to take the time to care for and embrace their many sides, in the hopes to get more out of life.”
