Larsa Pippen said in a brave new interview that she is in love with lover Marcus Jordan and has even met his famous father Michael.
The social media icon, 48, stunned fans when she began dating Jordan, 32, the son of her ex-husband Scottie Pippen’s main NBA adversary, but she told Tamron Hall there was no animosity behind her decision to pursue the younger guy.
She said: ‘We have everything in common, I don’t feel like age determines if you’re mature. Scottie is 10 years older than me…
She also denied knowing Marcus since he was a child, claiming the two met four years ago at a LA party before their relationship bloomed into romance in September.
She added: ‘I should have love and should be able to date who I want.’
Larsa said she had spent ‘a lot of time’ with Marcus’ father Michael , 60, and his mother Juanita, 63, who were ‘fine’ with the romance.
She said: ‘We’re happy, we motivate each other, they’re all fine with it.
‘I feel like, we’ve spent holidays together and it’s good. We’re in a great place. I think so. We’re in a really good place.
Larsa recently talked us about the moment she recognized she had feelings for her now-boyfriend Marcus.
The reality star recalled what made her want to shift their relationship from platonic to love when addressing her friendship with NBA superstar Michael Jordan’s kid.
Pippen began by recalling the night she realized she had feelings for Jordan, whom she also characterized as her “best buddy” at the time.
‘I think it was one night we went out and there was a girl that was there. She was trying to talk to him, and I was getting jealous over it,’ the mom-of-four told People.
She continued: ‘It was weird because I’m not really the jealous person, but I was jealous over the situation,’ she said.
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member stated that night prompted her to pursue more than friendship with Marcus, who she began dating last year.
‘So then, I was thinking maybe I do really like him. That kind of sealed the deal,’ she said.
Pippen went on to speak about how she had previously felt unfulfilled in her past relationships.
‘I would find faults in every guy… I had all these quirky things and then lo and behold, Marcus drops down from heaven. And I’m like, I like everything about him,’ she stated.
The reality television personality also expressed that she had finally found an ideal partner after years of searching.
‘The thing with me is this, I like to be led [in relationships], but I haven’t trusted anyone to lead me until now,’ she said.
Pippen finished by remarking that Jordan would be featured to some extent on The Real Housewives of Miami.
He would appear on the show ‘a little bit…’ she said.
I don’t want to put him under too much pressure. He seems to have signed up for me.’
Prior to dating Jordan, the social media star was married to basketball icon Scottie Pippen, whom she married in 1997.
During their marriage, the couple welcomed three sons, Scottie Jr., Preston, and Justin, ages 22, 20, and 17, as well as a daughter, Sophia, age 14.
The former couple divorced in 2016, reconciled, and then divorced permanently in 2018, after which their relationship was finally dissolved in 2021.
Pippen later moved on with Jordan, whom she began seeing in September of last year.
After that, the couple was seen on multiple dates together, though she tried to play down their affair in public.
But, the couple made their affair Instagram official in January.
