King Charles Poorly Treated by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Thomas Markle Sr., Meghan Markle’s estranged father, believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shut out both him and King Charles.

Thomas has compared himself to the British queen, 75, claiming that they are both fighting health issues while estranged from their children.

“I would love to speak with him, because I am sure he has as many unanswered questions as I do,” the “Suits” alum’s father told the Daily Mail on Saturday.

“Neither of us deserves the treatment we’ve received,” he told Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer in February. “He is going through cancer treatment, and I’m not in the best of health.”

Thomas, 79, said he has “deep empathy” for the monarch, whom he believes is “in the same boat” as him.

“I have so many questions I’d like to ask Meghan and Harry,” he told me. “The main one being, why have they treated not only me but the royal family and the king so badly?”

A retired TV lighting director has expressed a strong desire to meet his grandchildren before his 80th birthday.

Before his July 18th birthday, Thomas urged his daughter to let him see Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

“I’ve never been one for birthdays, but I know the one person I most want to hear from, Meghan, won’t be in touch,” he told the newspaper.

“I would love to meet my grandchildren, but I would be happy with a photograph at this stage.”

Meghan’s relationship with her father frayed in 2018 before her wedding to Prince Harry, and has only worsened since the Hollywood filmmaker suffered a stroke in 2022.

Thomas has yet to meet Prince Archie, 5, or Princess Lilibet, 3.

“They have two grandpas who want to see them, one of whom is the King of England,” he told me. “I never in my 80 years thought I’d be in the same boat as the king.”
