Italian Big Brother Star Monica Sirianni Dies After Collapsing in a Bar on Night Out

 

Italian Big Brother star Monica Sirianni has died after collapsing in a bar on a night out.

 

Reports say the 37-year-old suddenly fell ill on Friday May 5, during a night out with friends in Sauveria Mannelli, a town in Italy’s Catanzaro province.

 

Ms. Sirianni was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

 

The former TV star appeared on the 12th season of the Italian version of the reality show, which aired between 2011 and 2012.

 

 

Ms Sirianni had just recently arrived in Catanzaro when she fell. Friends quickly raised the alarm, and paramedics hurried to the site. Attempts to resuscitate her were futile.

 

She was subsequently transported to the nearby Soveria Mannelli hospital, where she unfortunately died.

 

An inquiry into the reason of her unexpected illness and death is proceeding, with no information provided to the public thus far, however third-party involvement has been ruled out.

 

It is understood that doctors have not ruled out the cause being a heart attack.

 

Her remains will be returned to her parents in Sydney, Australia, once the investigation is completed, according to Gazzetta del Sud.

 

Ms. Sirianni was a popular character during her time in the Big Brother house, which she entered at the age of 25. She was ousted after about a month, and the series was won by a contestant named Sabrina Mbarek.Sirianni later abandoned her broadcast job to become an English teacher.
