During his three-year collegiate career, Williams achieved amazing numbers including as 93 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, and over 10,000 passing yards.
In 2022, he was named All-American, Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, and won the Heisman Trophy.
The Bears made a significant move by moving quarterback Justin Fields to the Steelers and obtaining standout receiver Keenan Allen to compliment D.J. Moore.

Spotrac reports Williams will sign a four-year contract worth approximately $38.5 million. His contract will include a $24.8 million signing bonus and a fifth-year team option.
Williams’ deal will be the second-highest value for a No. 1 pick in American sports. Victor Wembanyama, the top pick in the 2023 NBA draft, has signed a four-year, $55.17 million contract.
