Coco Gauff Ranked Second Most Marketable Tennis Player In The World

Coco Gauff, a top tennis player, has been named one of the world’s most marketable tennis players on SportsPro’s 50 Most Marketable list.

The roster also included Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka. Tennis noted that no tennis player made the Top 10 list for the first time since 2017 and only the second time in history.

Djokovic was ranked 11th, Gauff was ranked 12th, and Osaka was placed 14th out of eight tennis players. The NBA standout Stephen Curry, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, and football sensation Travis Kelce were all ranked higher than the 19-year-old.

Gauff captured the hearts of Americans when she defeated Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka to win her first US Open title, becoming the youngest American tennis player to do so since Serena Williams at the age of 17 in 1999.

According to Blavity, Gauff has brand agreements with companies such as New Balance, Rolex, Barilla, and Microsoft. She was one of the highest-paid female athletes in 2022, according to Forbes, with a net worth of more than $11 million.

Also on the list, NBA player Lebron James is ranked No. 2, NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo is ranked No. 4, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton is ranked No. 7, and gymnast Simone Biles is ranked No. 8. What’s more, soccer player Kylian Mbappe is ranked No. 9, WNBA player Angel Reese is ranked No. 19, soccer player Alphonso Davies is ranked No. 20, soccer player Bukayo Saka is ranked No. 26, and soccer player Marcus Rashford is ranked No. 40.
