Chris Brown Faces Arrest If He Returns To Britain Over Alleged Assault

If Chris Brown, an American musician, travels back to the UK, he may be detained on suspicion of violence in a club.

Brown, 34, is accused of hitting a producer over the head with a bottle at the prestigious Tape nightclub in London earlier this year.

After his UK tour concluded on March 29 and police asked him to cooperate and submit to interrogation, he promptly fled and is now reportedly back in the US, according to Inside sources who spoke to The Sun.

According to reports, Brown is well aware of the hazardous scenario he may face upon returning to the UK. Any nation that has an extradition agreement with the UK is reported to be a target of his worries.

The issue of how Brown was permitted to leave the UK in the first place also remains unknown, the source said.

The alleged incident took place on February 19 at Tape nightclub, leaving the victim – a member of Brown’s entourage – hurt.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, the victim claimed that it was the rap artist himself who hit him with a bottle.

Brown was banned entry to the UK after his widely publicized assault on former partner Rihanna in 2010. The ban was lifted by former Home Secretary Priti Patel in 2020.

The source told The Sun that British authorities might be ‘too embarrassed’ to arrest Brown as the Government chose to let him back in.

The Met said: ‘Two men were due to attend a police station for a voluntary interview on March 29 but did not attend.

‘Enquiries are ongoing to locate them.’

Earlier this month Chris Brown appeared to speak out about a reported altercation at his birthday party that involved Usher.

In an Instagram comment that was apparently from Brown, 34, and reposted by a Twitter fan account, he appeared to deny that anything had happened between him and the 44-year-old singer.

In his comment, Brown wrote; ‘yall been geeked all weekend , y’all dragging it now. It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED To let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.’
