The 18-year-old student-athlete was injured during a workout at USC on July 24. He was brought to the hospital and eventually released three days later. During Saturday’s game, his father was given a $100,000 cheque for his LeBron James Family Foundation, according to the New York Post.

Bronny’s recent public appearance follows his father’s Instagram post of the 18-year-old playing piano at home after being discharged from the hospital. The NBA prospect had a heart episode during practice, as HowAfrica previously reported.

According to a spokeswoman, medical personnel were able to treat the teen before he was transferred to the hospital. According to sources, Bronny was unconscious when he was brought from USC’s Galen Center to the hospital following the incident. The site is where the University of Southern California practices and plays. According to reports, the event occurred on Monday morning.

Bronny was a rising basketball prospect during his high school days at Sierra Canyon. His father has also previously spoken about his desire to play with him in the NBA.

“My last year will be played with my son,” James told The Athletic in an interview said. “Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”
