15 Texas Destinations That Ranked As The Most Picturesque

Texans don’t have to search far for their next vacation, with 15 tiny cities and villages listed among the 120 most picturesque small towns in America.

A study undertaken by travel professionals from North Carolina Travel Guides analyzed 500 small communities in the United States, looking at search trends, photographer popularity, and general public photography appeal.

Except for the Gulf Coast, Texas, and New Mexico, gas demand is up nationally, according to a July report from the American Automobile Association.

“Some industry experts speculate that scorching temps in that region are keeping people off the road,” AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross said in a statement.

The average gas price in the Fort Worth and Arlington area is $3.52 right now, up from $3.20 a month ago.
