USA: Here’s How FDA’s New Blood Donation Guidelines Will Impact Louisianans

The US Food and Drug Administration recently finalized criteria for determining blood donor eligibility with fewer exclusions than previously.


Dr. Tim Peterson, the medical director of Tulane’s Blood Center, joined us to talk about the new rules and how they might affect Louisianans.


The Poverty Point World Heritage Site’s Artifact Identification Program hosts infrequent events where the public is invited to bring artifacts they have discovered that may be historical or archaeological. Specialists can assist in identifying and interpreting objects like as projectile points, beads, plummets, pottery, and ceramics.
