US Actor Johnny Wactor Shot Dead By Robbers

Johnny Wactor, an American actor, was shot dead by criminals attempting to steal a part from his automobile in the early hours of Saturday in Los Angeles, California.

Scarlett Wactor, his mother, confirmed his death to TMZ. She said that the incident happened approximately 3 a.m., shortly after the actor had left a bar with a coworker.

Wactor was claimed to have been shot while confronting three persons attempting to remove the catalytic converter from his parked vehicle.

Paramedics were called to the site, and the 37-year-old actor was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to authorities, the suspects fled the area in a car and have yet to be apprehended. They said that an inquiry into the incident has begun.

David Shaul, the actor’s agent, confirmed his death to Variety.

He praised Wactor as a “spectacular human being” who set a “real moral example” for those around him.

“Johnny Wactor was a spectacular human being. Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him. Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude,” he wrote.

“He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”

Wactor was known for his role as Brando Corbin in ‘General Hospital’, the ABC soap opera.

He featured in over 160 episodes of the show from 2020-2022.
