This Woman is the Founder of the First Black Woman-Owned Creative Daiquiri and Margarita Bar in Houston, Texas

Miyosha Weston, the owner of a trendy daiquiri and margarita bar in Southeast Houston. My Famous Daiq’s & Dogs is recognized for its unique cocktail offerings and gourmet hotdogs. According to Black Business, this is Southeast Houston’s first unique daiquiri and margarita bar owned by a Black woman.

The dedicated wife, mother, sister, and daughter has 33 years of corporate experience and brings to the field of entrepreneurship the knowledge and passion that the sector requires. Her innovative business began in May 2021.

She started her business after her husband misplaced his CPAP machine and came across World Famous Daiquiris and Margaritas To Go, which was near to the sleep facility where he could get a replacement machine. Canvas Rebel reports that the business owner has experienced constant growth by utilizing social media and networking through the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Furthermore, in addition to expanding its food portfolio with the introduction of My Famous Daiq’s and Dogs within the World Famous Daiquiris To Go, the company has moved into catering to local events.

Miyosha and her husband faced challenges when starting their business, including rejection from one city and two commercial properties before settling in Webster.

“We’re very delighted God guided us to Webster, Texas. The economics department, Katy Hicks, and the entire crew ensured that our procedure ran smoothly.

Miyosha was interested in developing capability in addition to increasing her firm. After starting her business, she returned to school to learn more about what it takes to run a business as well as to master the art of team building and leadership.

She subsequently earned a master’s degree in human resource management, demonstrating her commitment to personal and professional development.
