Ten Hag To Remain As Man Utd Boss – British Media

Erik ten Hag will remain Manchester United’s coach after the Premier League club conducted a performance evaluation of the Dutchman, according to British media on Tuesday.

Rumours lingered about Ten Hag’s future after a disappointing second season in charge at Old Trafford, which included a league-low eighth-place finish and a group stage Champions League defeat.

However, the 54-year-old coach oversaw an impressive 2-1 FA Cup final victory against local rivals Manchester City in May, which boosted his prospects of keeping the job.

According to the Press Association, United have chosen to keep Ten Hag as coach following a fortnight of analyzing the 2023-24 season and entire first-team management.

With the former Ajax manager’s contract scheduled to expire in Manchester next summer, talks on extending it have allegedly begun between the two parties.

Prior to the season-ending FA Cup final, reports stated Ten Hag would be fired regardless of the result.
