According to a news release, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has partnered with Simplicity, a pioneering AI-driven platform that links residents with their communities.

The Silicon Valley startup makes it possible for residents to locate all city services, information, and events in one location. Its primary aim is to assist the local administration in improving the quality of life for inhabitants.

Curry’s decision to join the Silicon Valley business is consistent with his ongoing efforts to help the Bay Area community.

“I’m thrilled to join forces with the Simplicity team and support the company’s mission of enhancing our cities and streamlining the way we receive information,” Curry said in a press statement. “Technology is a powerful connector, and Simplicity is leading the charge in using it to make daily life easier for our communities.”

Since its launch, Simplicity has been operating across the U.S. in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Austin, Denver, Buffalo, St. Louis, Cleveland and more.

Curry will collaborate with Simplicity’s founding partner, Miguel Gamino. He formerly worked as New York City’s Chief Technology Officer and the City and County of San Francisco’s Chief Information Officer, as well as Mastercard’s Executive Vice President and Head of Global Cities.

“Stephen brings a unique perspective and drive to Simplicity, and we’re honored to have him join our company,” said Juraj Gago, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Simplicity. “His commitment to making a positive impact aligns with our mission and we’re excited to see what the future holds with him on our team.”

Along with the latest announcement, Simplicity is set to ensure that there is a great impact on the cities that are involved.

“With the collaboration of government leaders and technology experts, Simplicity is poised to deliver substantial and sustainable improvement to our cities, putting state-of-the-art innovation within reach of every citizen,” the press release details.
