Real Madrid Sign 18-Year-Old Arder Guler From Fenerbahce

Arda Güler, an 18-year-old Turkish midfielder from Fenerbahce, has joined Real Madrid.

Guler won the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce last season and was named player of the match in the final.

He is also a full international and the youngest player ever to score for the Turkish national team, having done it at the age of 18 years and 114 days.

The new Real Madrid acquisition made his Fenerbahçe first-team debut in August 2021, in a Europa League qualifier played before his 17th birthday.

Güler went on to play 16 times and score three goals for his side during the 21-22 season. Last season, he made 35 appearances, scored six goals, and had several remarkable displays, including one in the Turkish Cup final against Basaksehir.

In the final, he set up Fenerbahçe’s first goal on the way to a 2-0 victory and was awarded man of the match.

Güler has been a full international since November 19, 2022. At the age of 17, he made his debut against the Czech Republic in a friendly match.

He has now earned four caps for Turkey, scoring once. His goal came against Wales in a European Championship qualifier on June 19, 2023, making him the youngest player in his country’s history to score for the national side.
