Radha Vembu Becomes India’s Richest Self-Made Woman: 8 Facts About Vembu

According to the 360 ONE Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2023, Radha Vembu, co-founder of Zoho Corporation, has surpassed Falguni Sanjay Nayar, founder and CEO of the beauty and lifestyle retail brand Nykaa, to become the richest self-made Indian woman.

 

According to the Hurun India report, Vembu’s net worth is ₹34,900 crore. She is number 40 on the list of the top 100 richest Indians.

Vembu was named third among India’s top five software entrepreneurs, while HCL’s Shiv Nadar and family topped the list.

 

Radha Vembu was born on December 24, 1972, in Chennai. Her initial schooling was finished at National Higher Secondary School in Chennai.

 

Following her education, she earned a degree in industrial management from IIT Madras. She finished her studies in 1997. In the previous three years, she has obtained 25 patents.Zoho Remotely, a remote work tool set, was introduced in 2020 to assist organizations in transitioning to work-from-home.

4. Vembu owns a majority stake in Zoho.
