Achraf Hakimi, a Paris Saint-Germain defender, is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault, according to a story by Le Parisien, which has been validated by the Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) prosecutor’s office.
According to a source close to the case, the inquiry was transferred to the Sûreté territoriale following allegations from a 24-year-old woman who claimed she was raped on February 25 at the player’s residence in Boulogne-Billancourt.
Contacted by AFP, the prosecutor’s office of Nanterre refused to communicate on this case, lamenting that “the information already published” in the press “harm the investigations necessary for the demonstration of the truth”.
According to a police source, this woman went to the police station in Nogent sur Marne (Val-de-Marne) to report Achraf Hakimi’s rape.
They met in January on the social network Instagram, according to this source, and she went to the player on Saturday night in a VTC (chauffeur-driven transport car) ordered by Hakimi.
She claims that Hakimi, 24, kissed her and touched her without her consent before raping her.

PSG did not respond immediately when contacted by AFP.
