Prince Harry Suggests Meghan Markle for Queen Role, Claims Royal Biographer

According to royal biographer Angelina Levin in an interview with Uncancelled, Prince Harry believes Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, should take over as Queen of Great Britain, notwithstanding their current residence in the US.

“[Harry] thinks it was very bad that Meghan wasn’t questioned about what should be done to make the royal family up to date,” Angela stated in the interview published on Monday, April 8, concerning Harry and Meghan’s chemistry with the firm before they relocated to California. “And [Meghan] said herself that she felt that they should have asked her what should be done rather than Kate because she is a self-made woman and she’s got much more experience.”

It would be a historical scenario to allow Harry and Meghan to reign.Prince William, the direct heir to the British throne, would have to withdraw from the line of succession, as would his three children. Only then would Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, be able to take over, securing a Sussex-led monarchy.

Angela, who spent 15 months with Harry while writing her best-selling biography “Harry: Conversations with the Prince,” discussed the relationship the prince and Meghan shared with late Queen Elizabeth II, who went to great lengths to ensure the couple’s comfort within the royal family.

“The queen did everything imaginable. “She gave them top aides to assist her, and she did say Meghan could continue acting if she wanted,” Angela claimed. “The more you think about it in retrospect, the more you realize that, whatever occurred, [Meghan] was never going to stay there. She was going to take Harry away since she had gotten what she desired: a title and a lot of cash. However, he did not give her as much money as she had hoped, and she is disappointed. She expected it to be more.

She added, “[Harry] was liked. Meghan was admired when she initially arrived. However, it was all a conspiracy. They seek to overthrow the royal family and silence the press. No more newspapers. That’s what he wants to do indefinitely to gain control of it.”

Harry’s complicated relationship with the print media, paparazzi, and now social media is well-documented, with the prince going to great measures to protect his and Meghan’s privacy. In 2023, he was a plaintiff in a lawsuit against Mirror Group Newspaper over alleged phone hacking, and he won. He has sued News Group Newspapers and Associated Newspapers for libel and the publication of a private letter between Meghan and her father, Thomas Markle. Angela claims that such actions were part of a bigger purported scheme.

The protracted cancer fight of Princess Kate Middleton adds to the uncertainty surrounding the throne’s eventual occupant. After confirming her diagnosis in March, the Princess of Wales, 42, has remained behind closed doors, adding gasoline to the already raging debate about the monarchy’s stability. According to Angela, William, 41, is “furious” about the current situation and believes his brother is exacerbating the problem.

“There you have it: their priorities. Harry was not on the list. “If you’re sick, the last thing you want is someone telling you how to behave,” Angela remarked of the tight relationship between the Waleses and the Sussexes. “Quite rightly William is absolutely furious about the comments that Harry made about his wife, insinuating that she didn’t have a big personality, that she did what she was told, she was deeply boring and that she was lazy.”

She went on to say, “They can’t trust Harry since he’s taken phrases and sold them to journalists for another documentary. He’s not having it. Harry has been quite disrespectful to William; you can’t accept it.”
