Simone Inzaghi will miss Inter Milan’s trip to Roma after receiving a one-game suspension, Serie A said on Tuesday.
In a statement, Italy’s top flight confirmed that coach Inzaghi would not be in control of Saturday’s encounter in Rome after receiving his fifth booking of the season during Inter’s 1-0 win over Juventus the weekend.
Inter are four points ahead of Juventus at the top of Serie A after defeating their closest title rivals at the San Siro on Sunday.
After three straight wins since Daniele De Rossi replaced Jose Mourinho, Roma is in fifth place, one point behind the Champions League spots.
