Mike Tyson Hails Francis Ngannou After Defeat

Mike Tyson, a former professional boxer, has praised mixed martial arts fighter Francis Ngannou following his defeat in a split decision against heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Tyson, Ngannou’s trainer, previously stated in an interview that Ngannou has the ability to knock out everyone in his path.

“He has what it takes to knock out anything or anybody standing in his way. Once he lands a punch on Tyson Fury’s jaw he is going to knock him out too. Nobody can survive that.”

Tyson referred to Fury as “the true champ of the evening” in a tweet on his X profile, formerly Twitter.

On Sunday, world heavyweight champion Fury won a split decision over mixed martial arts combatant Francis Ngannou in a boxing match in Saudi Arabia.

Ngannou knocked Fury out in round three, but the 35-year-old British boxer was able to continue despite being spooked.

Fury, who earlier this week mocked his opponent as a “big fat sausage,” later admitted that the 37-year-old Cameroonian had skillfully kept him off-balance.
