Maryland Family Discovers Items Belonging To Dead Woman Inside Halloween Casket

When a Maryland family discovered the personal effects of a deceased woman inside a plastic casket they had bought for their yearly Halloween celebration, they were shocked. The Wozniaks intended to use the casket along with other artifacts to decorate for Halloween, according to FOX 5.

The news source was also informed by Brooke Wozniak that the casket was purchased on Facebook Marketplace. She also said that after finding the goods, she made the decision to try to contact the family of the deceased woman because she didn’t want her mother to suffer the same fate. Wozniak ultimately shared a video on TikTok in an effort to track down the woman’s relatives and retrieve her belongings. That worked out.

“Everyone was in shock. And we didn’t really know how to feel about it,” said Wozniak. “My first reaction was, we’ve got to find the family. We gotta find whoever the next of kin is or whoever knows her.”
