LeBron James Says His Son Bronny Has Begun Rehab To Return To Playing Basketball

Bronny James’ road to rehabilitation appears to include a return to basketball.

When Bronny went into cardiac arrest in July, no one knew what the future held for the USC basketball player whose career had been cut short. Bronny appears to be in good enough health to resume working out. Doctors and medical professionals are certainly on board with enabling Bronny to restart basketball.

Dan Woike, a Los Angeles Times reporter who covers the Lakers and the NBA in general, tweeted a LeBron James update on Bronny James’ condition and overall improvement. According to LeBron, Bronny James is doing really well and is rehabbing to return to the basketball court this season, as reported by Woike. Bronny James intends to join USC basketball and aid the Trojans in this highly anticipated season.

With Isaiah Collier and Boogie Ellis in the backcourt, as well as veteran Kobe Johnson and high-profile transfer D.J. Rodman in the main rotation, USC is largely regarded as a preseason top-20 squad. If Bronny can join the squad early enough in the season, the Trojans might field a full team with exceptional backcourt performance and depth. We will notify you when Bronny James’ return to USC basketball is confirmed or revealed.
